Terms of Service

Last updated 9 October 2026

These terms apply when you use GoGetCited, the service at gogetcited.com that tracks how AI assistants and AI search answer questions about brands. GoGetCited is run by the operator of GoGetCited (Jalan Lagoa Kanal No.47 RT.008/002 Kebon Bawang, Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara, DKI Jakarta, 14320), called "we" or "us" below. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Who can use GoGetCited

GoGetCited is a professional tool for businesses, agencies and content teams. You must be at least 18 and, if you sign up for an organization, allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account and workspaces

  • Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account and in workspaces you own, including the actions of members you invite.
  • Each person can use one free trial. Creating extra accounts or workspaces to get more trials or to get around plan limits is not allowed.

3. What the service does

GoGetCited sends the prompts you choose to AI engines and search services (such as Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Claude) through third-party data providers, stores the answers and the sources they cite, and turns them into reports, sentiment ratings and content briefs.

  • The answers come from third parties we don't control. They change over time and can differ by location, language and personalization, so a check shows what an engine answered at that moment, not a permanent ranking.
  • Sentiment ratings, competitor suggestions, site profiles and briefs are produced with AI models and can be wrong. Review them before you act on them.
  • We don't promise any particular result, such as being mentioned or cited more often.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for anything unlawful, or to track or profile private individuals;
  • use contacts from the contact finder for bulk, automated or unsolicited marketing mail, add them to mailing lists, or contact anyone in a way that breaks anti-spam or data protection law (such as the GDPR, the ePrivacy rules or CAN-SPAM). Write to people one at a time about what they published, and stop when they ask;
  • enter prompts or content that infringe other people's rights or that are hateful, harassing or otherwise harmful;
  • get around plan limits, share an account between unrelated organizations, or resell the service without our written permission;
  • probe, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or interfere with other customers' use of it.

5. Plans, trials and payment

  • New workspaces start with a free trial of 7 days, without a card. When it ends, the workspace becomes read-only (your data stays visible, but no new checks run) until you choose a plan. A workspace that stays read-only may be deleted after a while; its owners and admins are emailed 30, 7 and 1 days before.
  • Plans, prices and limits are shown on our pricing page and in your workspace's Billing page. Prices exclude sales tax and VAT, which are added at checkout where they apply.
  • Payments are handled by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), our online reseller and merchant of record. Polar processes your payment, issues your invoices and collects tax, and Polar's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Upgrades apply straight away and you pay the difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
  • If a payment fails, you keep access for 7 days while you update your card; after that the workspace becomes read-only until the payment goes through.
  • We may change our prices. Changes don't affect a subscription you already have without at least 30 days' notice.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Your data

You keep all rights to the content you add, such as your prompts, brand and competitor details, and the reports created for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide and improve the service for you. We don't sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we protect it.

If you turn on the contact finder, you decide whether and how to contact the people and organizations it finds, and you are responsible for doing so lawfully. Contacts are kept for 30 days.

If you connect a website to see its AI traffic, you are responsible for telling its visitors about it where your law requires, for example in your own privacy notice. We process that data only to show it to you.

7. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties, including AI engines, data providers, Google (if you connect Search Console) and Polar. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or for the content of their answers.

8. Our service and feedback

GoGetCited, its software and its design belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the service. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features; if we remove something important to a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.

10. Suspension and ending your account

  • You can stop using the service at any time. To have your account and workspace data deleted, contact us.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, isn't paid, or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where possible we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, and disputes go to its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use other laws or courts.
